End-of-Course Challenges

1) Push yourself  2) Cement your learning  3) Get personalized feedback 4) Win prizes

How to participate:

  1. Study the in-progress course on JPBouvetMethod.com, at whatever pace is right for you. You do not have to finish the course to participate.

  2. After the final lesson of the course posts, you have 7 days to record a 2-3 minute performance using the material from the course.

  3. FYI: I am the only person who will see your video.

  4. Tip: Try not to plan too much! Turn your phone camera on and play. Keep it casual and rough. I want to see where you’re at, not a polished product.

  5. Upload it to Youtube as an “unlisted” video, and submit it as a Progress Post for the final chapter of the course. Be sure to check the box that says “Send to JP.”

  6. Sit tight until you hear from me!

Why participate?

  1. I choose one participant to win a very cool prize. Lame prizes are annoying, so I giveaway professional-level gear.

  2. Everyone receives a personalized feedback video.

  3. Everyone gains access to the participant-only Zoom hang, where we take the concept further and we explore ways to be creative with it.

  4. A medium-pressure challenge is good for your learning. It helps consolidate new learning so you’re less likely to forget it moving forward.

  5. I genuinely want to see how you’re doing with the material! This helps me get to know your drumming and improve the course.
